Devil  was born in Lincoln and spent his musical formative early years writing and recording rudimentary dance  music. He soon gained an active interest in other musical instruments and quickly moved on to guitar which he played in a few local bands. As his musical influences matured and      broadened, and after hearing slap bass, he decided to take another move to bass to emulate his heroes. 

 
He subsequently spent the next few years playing in a rock and roll group gigging around Lincoln playing all the city and surrounding  area’s local venues including extensive involvement in the summer seasons and undertaking leisure industry activities and appearances at holiday resorts.

As his interest grew Devil decided to go music University where he played in many heavy rock, rock and blues bands.

Devil continues to have a wide influence of differing music genres and is constantly improving his technique. His current influences would include ‘Infected Mushroom’, ‘Red Hot Chili Peppers,’ ‘Killswitch’, ‘Disturbed’ and ‘Foo Fighters’ but is also interested in other related musical genres including Blues and Jazz.

Devil was the main instigator in terms of sound design and assisted Scary Clown with production and engineering on the initial 16 tracks.
